What is an interesting design for my paper lantern?

I purchased a plain white paper lantern for my apartment. Some suggestions would be helpful to help me decorate it to match my comforter colors (yellow, aquamarine, and a coral red all in a paisley design). My only idea is to splatter a single color onto it. Any others? Keep in mind it's hard to draw on these!
