Do you think The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare is the new Twilight?

I 'tried' to read the book, but found the books dull and to be frank I thought the writer had wrote them in a style just to be the next Twilight. I really think she added sloppy romance between two people just to be the next twilight. It also has Twilight's sickness too. Don't the tow lovers find out they are brother and sister and still date (Incest!) but I also heard they weren't really brother sister at all but still it's sick!
