Is this stain stuck on my shirt forever?

I was making brownies and I was wearing a white shirt. some of the batter accidentally splattered on my shirt. I took it off and sprayed it with shout, and then later sprayed it again before putting it through the wash. when i took it out of the washing machine it still had a faded stain on it, so i sprayed it again and put it through another time. then, before i could go look at it again, someone put it through the dryer. the stain is faded quite a bit, but it is still one there. is it possible to get it off now it has been through the dryer?

Since he is young, and the teeth that are being extracted will not be missing for an extended period of time, he should have enough bone to hold the implants. You will have to have x-rays done in order to know for sure but it is unlikely.

I overfed my dog, what do I do?

I overfed my dog over the past few days, unintentionally. He was acting hungry and I didn't think a little extra food would hurt him. (I already learned my lesson though!) He's now pretty bloated. He's only been like this today, maybe a little yesterday. He's acting normal, no sign of pain or sickness. But his stomach seems pretty darn large; uncomfortably large. He was not fed anything other than dog food. Should I feed him less than I normally should until it goes down? Or feed him as normal? He's such a small dog that this worries me. (A 1 lb, 9 week old chihuahua/terrier mix.) I can't afford to take him to the vet unless it's absolutely necessary, so what signs should tell me to take him to the vet? Diarrhea, burping? He hasn't shown the signs, but I want to know what to look for. Advice is appreciated!

I believe that Happy-go-lucky is the point of cartoons. It is an escape from the 'real world' that is why we enjoy them so much. There IS so much death, destruction and general depression around us that there has to be someplace where there is none of that. I think that cartoons are meant to teach children about the good things in life. Why would anyone want their children to grow up cynical because they have seen death and darkness everywhere? Children need time to be children, to have the happy-go-lucky dreams. I'm not saying that they should be sheltered from everything, and told pretty little white lies, but there is a time and place for that. That place is NOT in entertainment meant to give hope, hilarity, and just a little bit of nauseousness!

How to fatten my pup up?

My pup is getting pretty stringy. Being a puppy, she's not always very interested in her food. She'll eat some, but usually not all I give her. I'm starting to worry. after paying a 5,000 debt left by my ex husband and being in the private market for 3 years, I am now terminally ill, a few years to go and cannot find emergency housing because of my sickness (they dont want the responsibility) I find myself homeless and moving every few days to not break my friends and families leases. I have no street smarts, no where to turn and no money, what advice is there besides topping myself?. About 5 days ago I felt constantly sick and didn't eat much just drank loads. This sickness went away two days ago but now I just don't feel anything, I don't want to eat. Morning sickness after delivery?

I had my baby 2 weeks ago. During my pregnancy I didn't suffer from any morning sickness or loss of appetite, if anything food tasted better. I had a c-section and was restricted to a clear liquid diet at first due to the anesthesia. When I was finally able to eat again I didn't eat much as I still wasn't feeling well. The first couple days home I was able to actually eat again but a week after I gave birth I noticed I wasn't able to eat much at all and I even feel nauseous at times. I couldn't finish a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a small bowl of cereal, even a granola bar. I'm breast feeding so I'm trying to keep up on my nutrients but I'm lucky if I can eat twice a day. I saw a commercial for food and it made me queasy. It's been like this for a week now. Is it normal to be feeling this way after the delivery? Is there anything I can do about it?

Why do i get nauseous everything i smoke weed now?

When can i start ignoring a negative home pregnancy test?

She isn't eating, not going to the bathroom, and she keeps sneezing and is occasionally drinking water. I know shes very sick and I don't want her to suffer so my dad says we should put her to sleep. HELP! My sons father is taking me to court for FULL CUSTODY!!?

I am 22 year old single mother of a 2 year old boy, my sons father is 23 years old and we both have shared custody of our son but here is the problem.. He is taking me to court for FULL CUSTODY I got a knock on my door at around 11AM in the morning from his LITTLE SISTER giving me court papers and I didn't handle it very well so I broke down crying infront of her and asking her why she stated for me to ask her brother. The papers showed that he filed for court on me on MAY 12, But I got the papers MAY 31st !!! He gave it to me late notice and court was about 26 days away from that date, I have court on June 30th at 11AM. I live in Canada Toronto, Ontario. I breastfed my son for 5 months, I lived with my mother since my son was 1 years old and then got my own apartment after that but before that i was living with my mother and she was helping me with everything, I took my son to all his doctors appointments, I had him full time since he was 3 months old and after that his father had him for the weekends I was nice enough to do that for him, He NEVER PAYED CHILD SUPPORT only until we had an incident that happened on my sons birthday when I punched my sons father in the face because he said something horrible to me that I couldn't take in, him and his sister both forcefully took me out of the car (his sisters car) and tried driving off wiht my son in the car I called the police and the call turned out on me because him and sister stated i punched him in the face while she was driving and me and my son were in the back seat. The police asked them if they wanted to press charges on me and they said No, and they asked if my sons father was paying child support and he said no and they said he needs to start! I am not going to lie and say that did not happen it did but i appologized but because she told the police that they got childrens aid involved but the lady came to my house hold and she seen that my apartment was CLEAN there was food in the FRIDGE AND CUBBOARDS, and that my son was well taken care of. I am not rich I am on assistant since I WAS a full time mother. in December my sons father took my son to MEXICO he begged me and I told him no (reason because i felt my son was to young of age and i was afraid of all the sickness or dangers he can go through) he got his parents who reside in Mexico to call me and I said yes because they were begging for about an hour on the phone) I signed the papers for him to leave the country just to be nice. before that in October 2010 he automatically took my son from me full time and put him in daycare without my consent! and I ended up having him on the weekends ever since and still do. I missed some weekends but only because I am looking for work! I haven't found work yet but I am trying and I want my son to be with me Mon-Fri and his fathers to have him on the weekends I am a good mother there is no reason for me to not have my son, I do not do drugs or alcohol or believe in abuse! He has money I am on welfare how will I win this case my sons fathers girlfirend (that he cheated on me with when i was 7 and half months pregnant is on the daycare papers and she picks my son up from daycare. I don't work and my sons father lives with his sisters in a condo and works a 9-5 Job so I have no clue of why he wants my son full time I can have more time with my son as I do not work! he lied on the court papers and said my house is DIRTY, I have no FOOD, and that my hallway stinks of marijuana (my neighbors smoke alllllll daay) and stinks up the hallway. My house is CLEAN, and I do have food in the fridge I make sure to put breakfast lunch and dinner on the table at ALL times when my son is with me! I spoke with my sons father and he even appologized to me for assuming that i do not have food and all that stuff but he said he wants mondays to fridays and that he wants me to have weekends, but on the court papers he put SOLE CUSTODY and said I can only have SUPERVISED VISITS as if I am some crack head or something! Even my mother had to tell him he is in the wrong but he is doing this for his girlfirend and his sisters because if he was doing what was best for his son he would know mom is best for fulltime care giver! he even put the incident of when I punched him in his face on the court papers !! I spoke with him the other day and he said he would not take me to court if we can have a decent agreement so instead of going looking for a lawyer I left it alone, but he told me just 2 days ago that he will be taking me and that he will see me in court and that he has a GOOD lawyer and that I do too and I told him I don't have a lawyer and he said oh well see you there and hanged up on me ! Court is on thursday.........I have NO Lawyer, No nothing.. the onlly thing I have is witness what am I to do and I haven't seen my son in 2 weeks he is KEEPING MY SON FROM ME! Okay so first I got my pregnancy test at Planned Parenthood and it was the pee test. I want to know if I can really trust this test because I do not want to get all exited more then what I already am. They told me I am nine weeks which it makes since because I haven't had my period in about two months. To me that was normal because I had gone up to four months without getting my period even when I wasn't sexually active. My last period was in April and before that it was in January. The reason I decided to go get tested was because I started getting craving which I thought it was just me being picky and also morning sickness that I believed were because I just would not eat. And well if I am pregnant I want to know if it is normal that I loose wait while being pregnant. What if i am pregnant, or not?

I'm twenty years old and have never been pregnant. i thought i was pregnant about two months ago but i took a test and it showed up negative. but lately i have been noticing i'm not feeling the same. I'm cranky, always tired, i have to use the restroom more then normal and i'm slightly constipated. My breasts are sore to the touch and I have gained at least five pounds in the last week or so. for some reason i feel hungry more often then normal. I'm due for my period but nothing has come yet. last month i spotted and cramped a week before my period and also on the month before that. i'm normally regular with no cramps or mood swings. i don't normally spot either nor do my breast start to hurt during my cycle. i've read about pregnancy symptoms and what to look for and i show a few but i don't have any morning sickness or anything. some cooked meat foods turn my stomach which normally don't, but not enough for me to throw up. am i pregnant?

Brief Sickness after Sunbed?

Recently used a sun bed (Well, sun booth, it was one where you stood up)... I was only in for 3 minutes... as it was my first time using a sun bed, and im not planning on using it as a regular thing, just to take the edge of the white glow for summer low, so that i have a slight 'slow'. After i got out and got dressed,about 5 minutes later i felt really really sick, however, within a minute or two it passed? What are the chances of this being related to the sun bed or being related to something else? (At the moment im experimenting with some food intolerances i might have, so could be linked to that?) for 10 years doctors made me believe that i had chronic sinusitis ,i had 3 operations done on my nose that never help with my breathing ,in fact i get worse after the operations. How do you get acrylic paint out of a carpet?

Resolve doesn't work to well. I've tried it before. I think dish washing soap works better if the acrylic is still wet. Acrylic paint is very hard to get out once it's dried. There is a product I have used called Winsor & Newton Brush Cleaner and Restorer that can dissolve it a bit so you can get it out. You can find it in most art or craft stores. Put it on the stain and let it sit a bit then use soap. It will take some scrubbing. Fingernail polish remover can also dissolve the paint as well. Be careful that it won't dissolve your carpet. Test it out in an inconspicuous area first. That's the best I got. Hope it helps.

Dog passed away - heart failure or tumour?

My Yorkshire terrier girl 15years of age passed away in the early hours of this morning(5.am). She experienced some fast short shallow breathing and occasional coughing, also a bit of sickness. We put the coughing down to kennel cough as her companion had just suffered from it. We took her to the vets within 2 hours who tested her heartbeat and chest, he told us within minutes that she was in a critical condition and might not make it through the night. He said she had fluid in the lungs and her heart was very weak which could not pump properly around the body and the fluid out...but he also said she had a tumour in her stomach which we had previously check out and been told it was a milk duct?. He was adament it was in fact a tumour.. although his main concern was the fluid on teh lungs and weakness of the heart. We are very confused at what the likelyness of death was. She had been perfectly fine in previous months and days!...eating properly, playing, barking. it was all so sudden. She had experienced minor hair loss. I understand there is nothing we can do now but if you could just give me an insight in to what you think it was down to i would be greatly appreciative. She was very happy and showed know sign of pain. We were allowed to take her home and her breathing slowed down through the night untill she gradually took her last breath.

Pregnancy... When does this smell go away so I can actually eat and not throw up?

With my last I was sick up until about 18 weeks. It went away and then towards the last week a little nausea but it was horrible. I lived on ginger ale and crackers. Ask the dr they can prescribe meds for nausea but not the smell. I could smell everything all the way through but the nausea from it eventually went away. I only had that problem with my girl not with either boy and was told that it could have been due to extra hormone.

HELP! My sons father is taking me to court for FULL CUSTODY!!?

I am 22 year old single mother of a 2 year old boy, my sons father is 23 years old and we both have shared custody of our son but here is the problem.. He is taking me to court for FULL CUSTODY I got a knock on my door at around 11AM in the morning from his LITTLE SISTER giving me court papers and I didn't handle it very well so I broke down crying infront of her and asking her why she stated for me to ask her brother. The papers showed that he filed for court on me on MAY 12, But I got the papers MAY 31st !!! He gave it to me late notice and court was about 26 days away from that date, I have court on June 30th at 11AM. I live in Canada Toronto, Ontario. I breastfed my son for 5 months, I lived with my mother since my son was 1 years old and then got my own apartment after that but before that i was living with my mother and she was helping me with everything, I took my son to all his doctors appointments, I had him full time since he was 3 months old and after that his father had him for the weekends I was nice enough to do that for him, He NEVER PAYED CHILD SUPPORT only until we had an incident that happened on my sons birthday when I punched my sons father in the face because he said something horrible to me that I couldn't take in, him and his sister both forcefully took me out of the car (his sisters car) and tried driving off wiht my son in the car I called the police and the call turned out on me because him and sister stated i punched him in the face while she was driving and me and my son were in the back seat. The police asked them if they wanted to press charges on me and they said No, and they asked if my sons father was paying child support and he said no and they said he needs to start! I am not going to lie and say that did not happen it did but i appologized but because she told the police that they got childrens aid involved but the lady came to my house hold and she seen that my apartment was CLEAN there was food in the FRIDGE AND CUBBOARDS, and that my son was well taken care of. I have been offered a job as Sessional Support Worker. Support Worker for this company is my ideal job so I was delighted after having been unemployed for a few months. My friend asked her doctor about her sickness & he gave her some medicine (although I don't know what kind) to help her & she says it works well. Your fiancee's doctor might be able to prescribe her something but I'm not sure it's completely preventable. Just another joy of pregnancy for some people! Maybe she could adjust her diet & try eating crackers, ginger ale, and bland foods that are less likely to get her sick. Hope it gets better because that sucks!

I love roller coasters, why am I scared of flat rides?

I know, for most people it's the other way around. And I don't get motion sickness. I will go on any roller coaster, but I have to really think before going on a flat ride. I went to Kings Dominion and rode the Intimidator 305, but then it was really embarassing because I wouldn't go on the Drop Tower, Berserker, or Crypt. I will say to my friends, "I will ride any roller coaster, it's the flat rides that I'm not so sure about." Then they will look at me like I'm crazy. So why am I like this and what do I do about it?

I think I have a bladder infection?

I'm 14 and I'm pretty sure I have a bladder infection but I'm not positive. I've looked up symptoms online and I think I do. Since yesterfay evening it seems like I have to pee all the time. And then when I go, barely anything comes out most of the time. Then afterwards, I have sharp pains in my pelvic area, or pressure. I feel uncomfortable in any other position than laying or sitting down. I've been drinking cranberry juice but I can barely down it. Because I feel like I need to pee right after I drink it, and I get queasy. I'm very queasish around blood and sickness and gross stuff so I can barely down the juice at the thought of having a bladder infection. Please help! Post Dental Bone Graft Question?

I had a tooth extraction (Tooth #4) this past Thursday and a dental bone graft was put into place. Since then, the area where the stitches and what I am guessing to be membrane (it's a soft white material) has descended. I am in no pain, but am concern is the surgical area material supposed to have descended to the extent that you can't tell there is a tooth missing anymore because the material fills the hole of where the tooth was (it did not look like that the day of surgery). My dentist is unable to be reached and I don't know if this is to be expected.

Planting Gardenia shrub in SWFL?

I'm getting conflicting information on the internet and from nursery employees on whether it is imperative to plant ONLY grafted gardenia plants in SW Florida. I am told by some that only the grafted plants will survive because of some sort of bug that is in the ground and prone to attacking plants that are not grafted. I prefer to plant one of the non-grafted varieties because I don't want it to look like a small tree as the grafted ones do. They will be planted on either side of the garage (near cement) and the east side of the house. Even though I realize they grow quite large I intend to keep them fairly well trimmed so they don't obstruct the walkways. Do you think the "Mystery" variety non-grafted will work and will it not bloom nicely if I need to keep it too closely trimmed?

Dental bone grafted, is it swelling or something permanent? ?

I had dental bone graft surgery done about 3 weeks ago. The bone was placed in the front of my mouth to be able to place 4 implants in the future and to replace my four front teeth. My concern is, after performing the surgery, and after rest and getting the "major" swelling down, my nose seems a but funny, a little pushed up. Changed how I look completely believe it or not.I'm not sure if this is swelling, and will go away after healing completely, or if it's something permanent? How to convince my parents to let me get cosmetic surgery?

I'm 14, and I don't want a nose job, or a boob job. Sure, I think my boobs are small, and my nose big, but I'm fine with that. But one thing that really bothers me is my cheeks. Do Norcos make you sick to your stomach?

I had middle ear surgery (New ear drum from skull graft, cysts removal, and replacement of a hearing bone) a week ago and I have been given Norco 5mg to take every 4 hours as needed. Has anyone experienced nausea or loss of appetite on Norco? Or could it be from my surgery? I have tried contacting my Dr nurse for 2 days with this question with no luck.

Stay at home mom blues?

You're sick and you've had surgery. Your husband is being a lazy jerk and needs to realize that. I can't believe he expects you to cook and clean plus take care of your son when you are recovering from surgery. Cut back on the cooking and cleaning and make it easier for yourself. Get some things at the grocery store that require little to no cooking and get some paper plates/cups/spoons/forks. It doesn't have to be unhealthy - you can get sandwich stuff, a veggie tray, fruit, crackers, cheese, peanut butter, nuts, etc. Don't worry so much about the cleaning, your house doesn't have to be spotless. If you're husband has a problem with this tell him to stuff it. He works long hours 4 days a week but that means he's off for three and on his days off he should help with the cleaning. He may have to do more than his share until you recover from your surgery and he'll just have to deal with that. I also strongly suggest that when you feel better you should look for a job to get him off your case about the housework. He feels entitled that you should take care of all that because you stay home, getting a job would get rid of his excuses.

i had a connective gum tissue graft yesterday and today i woke up and it looked like the tooth was just covered in blood. i wasnt sure if the tissue peeled off or if its just dried blood... im afraid to touch it .. has anyone experienced this? i called the office and they told me to come in tomorrow but im hoping it didnt unattach itself

Morning sickness after delivery?

I had my baby 2 weeks ago. During my pregnancy I didn't suffer from any morning sickness or loss of appetite, if anything food tasted better. I had a c-section and was restricted to a clear liquid diet at first due to the anesthesia. When I was finally able to eat again I didn't eat much as I still wasn't feeling well. The first couple days home I was able to actually eat again but a week after I gave birth I noticed I wasn't able to eat much at all and I even feel nauseous at times. I couldn't finish a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, a small bowl of cereal, even a granola bar. I'm breast feeding so I'm trying to keep up on my nutrients but I'm lucky if I can eat twice a day. I saw a commercial for food and it made me queasy. It's been like this for a week now. Is it normal to be feeling this way after the delivery? Is there anything I can do about it?

I forgot what magazine it was and what system the game was on, but I remember one of the screen shots of a wizard looking fellow slashing a monster's head off with a sword and blood splattering. It had dungeon scenes almost like diablo, but when you fought monsters a blown up view of you facing your opponent would pop up. Is it measles and how long will it last?

well im 16 and my mom says my eyes have been blood shot and a slight cough has been developing the past couple of days. i also have a few red, very itchy dots on my chest, stomach, maybe head(?), and... somewhere else;) also feel slightly sick. i have researched it and im not as scared but maybe its just that im slightly a hypochondriac. im just worried cause ive heard things and the outbreak scare lately and i just dont like getting sick haha. so if you can help please do. i mainly want to know if its another sickness or if it is measles how long will it last and should i be worried?

HELP! My sons father is taking me to court for FULL CUSTODY!!?

I am 22 year old single mother of a 2 year old boy, my sons father is 23 years old and we both have shared custody of our son but here is the problem.. He is taking me to court for FULL CUSTODY I got a knock on my door at around 11AM in the morning from his LITTLE SISTER giving me court papers and I didn't handle it very well so I broke down crying infront of her and asking her why she stated for me to ask her brother. The papers showed that he filed for court on me on MAY 12, But I got the papers MAY 31st !!! He gave it to me late notice and court was about 26 days away from that date, I have court on June 30th at 11AM. I live in Canada Toronto, Ontario. I breastfed my son for 5 months, I lived with my mother since my son was 1 years old and then got my own apartment after that but before that i was living with my mother and she was helping me with everything, I took my son to all his doctors appointments, I had him full time since he was 3 months old and after that his father had him for the weekends I was nice enough to do that for him, He NEVER PAYED CHILD SUPPORT only until we had an incident that happened on my sons birthday when I punched my sons father in the face because he said something horrible to me that I couldn't take in, him and his sister both forcefully took me out of the car (his sisters car) and tried driving off wiht my son in the car I called the police and the call turned out on me because him and sister stated i punched him in the face while she was driving and me and my son were in the back seat. The police asked them if they wanted to press charges on me and they said No, and they asked if my sons father was paying child support and he said no and they said he needs to start! I am not going to lie and say that did not happen it did but i appologized but because she told the police that they got childrens aid involved but the lady came to my house hold and she seen that my apartment was CLEAN there was food in the FRIDGE AND CUBBOARDS, and that my son was well taken care of. I am not rich I am on assistant since I WAS a full time mother. in December my sons father took my son to MEXICO he begged me and I told him no (reason because i felt my son was to young of age and i was afraid of all the sickness or dangers he can go through) he got his parents who reside in Mexico to call me and I said yes because they were begging for about an hour on the phone) I signed the papers for him to leave the country just to be nice. before that in October 2010 he automatically took my son from me full time and put him in daycare without my consent! and I ended up having him on the weekends ever since and still do. I missed some weekends but only because I am looking for work! I haven't found work yet but I am trying and I want my son to be with me Mon-Fri and his fathers to have him on the weekends I am a good mother there is no reason for me to not have my son, I do not do drugs or alcohol or believe in abuse! He has money I am on welfare how will I win this case my sons fathers girlfirend (that he cheated on me with when i was 7 and half months pregnant is on the daycare papers and she picks my son up from daycare. I don't work and my sons father lives with his sisters in a condo and works a 9-5 Job so I have no clue of why he wants my son full time I can have more time with my son as I do not work! he lied on the court papers and said my house is DIRTY, I have no FOOD, and that my hallway stinks of marijuana (my neighbors smoke alllllll daay) and stinks up the hallway. My house is CLEAN, and I do have food in the fridge I make sure to put breakfast lunch and dinner on the table at ALL times when my son is with me! I spoke with my sons father and he even appologized to me for assuming that i do not have food and all that stuff but he said he wants mondays to fridays and that he wants me to have weekends, but on the court papers he put SOLE CUSTODY and said I can only have SUPERVISED VISITS as if I am some crack head or something! Even my mother had to tell him he is in the wrong but he is doing this for his girlfirend and his sisters because if he was doing what was best for his son he would know mom is best for fulltime care giver! he even put the incident of when I punched him in his face on the court papers !! I spoke with him the other day and he said he would not take me to court if we can have a decent agreement so instead of going looking for a lawyer I left it alone, but he told me just 2 days ago that he will be taking me and that he will see me in court and that he has a GOOD lawyer and that I do too and I told him I don't have a lawyer and he said oh well see you there and hanged up on me ! Court is on thursday.........I have NO Lawyer, No nothing.. the onlly thing I have is witness what am I to do and I haven't seen my son in 2 weeks he is KEEPING MY SON FROM ME! I feel like breaking down what am I to do what can I do they are going to take everything from me!

Could i have lung cancer?

about 6 days ago, my chest started hurting (my left side), and everyday since then it's been hurting and tightening. when i bend over, it feels heavy. when i breathe in, it usually doesn't hurt, but sometimes it does. i'm scared i could have a heart problem or lung cancer. i'm 13 and i don't smoke, but my dad does, but i don't live with him and i am only at my dad's house like 2-3 days a week. 2 sundays ago, we went camping until last friday, and on the car rides to and from there, he smoked in the car about 10 times but had the windows down. he usually goes outside and smokes when at his house, and my mom hasn't smoked in a few months. could i have lung cancer? the only symptom i have of lung cancer is chest pain. no dizziness or sickness, i feel fine, and my appetite is fine, so could it just be the bone above my lung? can people have non stop chest pain for weeks, but nothing be wrong with them? i'm really scared. my mom said she'd take me to the doctor on monday and let the doctor check it out, but every time i go to see him, something ends up being bad or a big problem. i just want to know now. could it be lung cancer? my mom said my heart is in the middle of my chest, and my left arm would hurt if i had heart cancer/tumor. and she said i would be sick and throwing up. but i haven't thrown up at all, and i haven't been sick. it started off in the middle of my chest, but now it's the left and middle. sometimes it's at the top of the left side, and it just hurts in different areas, usually not at the same time. it does sometimes hurt on the right side too, but not alot. if it does, it pretty much just stings for a minute, then stops. what could i have?

15 weeks pregnant sick when I don't eat ?

I'll be 15 weeks tomorrow and my morning sickness Seems to be gone except for in the car! :-/ however when I wake up in the morning I feel horrible! 20 weeks pregnant and haven't gained any weight?

I haven't gained any weight at all through out my pregnancy, I don't have morning sickness and have a very healthy appetite. Is this normal not to be gaining weight? My ob hasn't said anything about it but he is a man of few words and also he has never listened to the babies heartbeat through a dropper or even a stethoscope is this normal? With my last pregnancy (different ob) he listened to the baby every appointment and also felt my tummy for growth. I haven't had any of that with this dr, only weight checks, blood pressure checks and urine checks. Is this ok?

Does no contractions at 37 1/2 weeks mean a late delivery?

I'm 37 1/2 weeks pregnant and besides one or two braxton hicks contractions (completely pain free) over the last week or two I haven't had any contractions. It's been a very easy pregnancy, no morning sickness, no swelling, very little weight gain (it looks like a bball under my shirt!), etc. so I'm wondering if that is a factor. I also don't know if I've dropped yet, it feels like it because I can feel him lower and I can tell a difference in my belly, but people are always commenting that I haven't dropped yet and they say that's usually 3-4 weeks before delivery. Pulled/ torn hamstring after ACL surgery?

4 days after my ACL Reconstruction (Hamstring Graft) and Meniscal Repair i started walking without crutches. everything was good. I went swimming, doing some freestyle and focusing on my kicking when I felt a weird tear in the back of my thigh of my operated leg. i heard a crack/pop/tear (in the back of my thigh) and my hamstring started hurting. my knee feels great but i know whats left of my hamstring hurts in a certain are. i didn't do damage to the graft did i? And anyone have any experience ith this kind of thing?

How do I get this crud off my windshield?

Bad dreams :(!what do they mean?

I'm going insane. I have severe anxiety and my bad dreams make me not want to sleep at all! (Which is hard because I have a 3 month old baby! I need sleep lol) anyways I'm so worried! The 1st night I had a dream I was driving and I drove passed an apartment where someone had jumped off and there was blood and guts splattered everywhere! So scary! My ACL is loose after 3 months post op. Is this bad?

I had ACL reconstruction and lateral meniscus removal 11 weeks ago from today. I chose to use the Patella tendon graft. If anyone who had this surgery remembers before it, they done many tests to check for the ACL being torn. One of them was pulling on the shin bone to see if it parts from the thigh. Doing this, you can see your shin bone move kinda deforming your skin, or pushing your skin out. Mine has started to do this again, when I pull on my shin, it departs way more than my other knee. You can tell a big difference. But my knee feels normal and i can run without it giving away. It isn't giving away and i have no pain. I can still straighten it out as well as hyper extend it some, and bend it fully without any pain at all. I'm just worried because that ACL is loose like it was before surgery. Like i said, i can still run, walk without any pain, and bend fully and straighten without any giving out. I'm just worried about the looseness of the ACL. Any suggestions?

Question about PPD/PPI and fair settlement offer?

I live in Oklahoma and had a hamstring graft surgery in addition to a prosthesis to replace my acl after a worker's comp injury. The surgery took place, Oct. 14th and I am now to the point where I was released by my Doctor and we are talking about the settlement with my adjuster. The doctor rated me at 9% PPD and the offer is 17,000. Is that a fair amount, any help would be appreciated because I have no experience with this. Personally I feel it is a little low considering I am only 28 and will likely have problems down the road with the leg but again I have no real way of knowing. I also endured 4 months of grueling PT so is that factored in at all. Thanks in advance for any advice :)

How to remove pepper spray stains?

I had a thing of pepper spray in my purse and I guess it fell out in my car, and today when the car got so hot from being in the sun the pepper spray exploded. it's all over everything-my leather seats, the dash board, the door, the windows, the chrome plates around the radio, etc. a lot of it came out with dish soap but some parts are stained orange. I've tried dish soap, laundry detergent, goo gone, windex, and rubbing alcohol but it's not budging. I don't want my car to forever have bright orange/red splatter stains all over it. Any suggestions on what else I can try that won't further damage the interior?

Every spring the buds on trees come like aliens; unfamiliar and foreign. It’s understandable considering people in Massachusetts usually have five months of winter before the first bud breaks, but it’s weird that they never look the same. You remember pictures of trees with leaves on them but you never see the trees the same way as you did the previous spring. The funny thing is the trees are exactly the same; it’s you who has changed. The trees are no longer as big or as fun to climb on, and the grass is just green; no longer is it a plush carpet. The sunset isn’t the time where the monsters come out to get the little girls who haven’t gone to bed yet; it’s just a splatter of the warm colors we learned about in art class. The big dipper is just an arrangement of stars, not a sign that god put there, just a coincidence. The stars are just balls of fire floating in unending space that will one day eat up the whole universe. The world will keep having horrendous disasters that we will have no control over; not even Bat Man or Super Man can save us. Society has brainwashed us. Every. Single. One. No person left unturned; no rock left classified.

What sickness do I have?

Their is a lot of pressure in my head. My head feels awful but it is not just a headache.. It is also not a migrainee. My throatt hurts a little but not very much. I am also congested. Am I expecting a baby?

I track my girlfriends period there are 6 days when she is in heat and one when she is olvuating. I had unportected sex with her on her last day " after she ovulated" we didn't think anything of it. It's been three weeks now and her period is suppose to come soon, but I am scared she might be expecting. She has been eating alot of random food and has gained 10 pounds since last month. What would happen if....?

What would happen if somebody made a skin graft filled with chlorophyll? Would it attach to the skin, or would the body reject it completely because of a foreign substance? Better yet, what would happen if somebody injected chlorophyll cells inside the bloodstream? Would they die? Would they just get very sick? I've already had one ACL surgery where they used my patellar tendon as a graft. I think I have torn it again, what will they most likely use a graft this time? A cadaver's?

If you have had multiple nose surgeries, can you get your nose pierced?

I really want my nose pierced. However, I am concerned because I have had multiple nose surgeries (as a result of being cleft lip and palate, not elective surgeries). I have a bone graft. I do not know how hard they have to push on your nose - so I worry if they push too hard, it will hurt the graft. I also worry about some of the scar tissue I have in my nose. I worry it might cause bums or something weird. I am not looking for general opinions here. I am looking for professional piercers, those in the medical field, or those who have been in my situation. I just want to know if I should be generally safe to go forward with the piercing or not.

If i re-tore my acl i would at least limp right?

so i had my acl repair about 6 months ago (it was a hamstring graft) i finished physical therapy in 4 months and have been play basketball for about a month now full speed. yesterday i was going up for a lay up and felt like a quick pain behind my leg somewhere. Not sure where exactly, either behind my knee or a little above. well i landed fine and continued to play a few more games because it barely hurt, even played volleyball later that day. Well now i have some pain behind my knee when i try to jump or run fast, but it also goes up into my hamstring too. I really think its my hamstring (hopefully), but will probably go to the doctor in a few days if it doesnt get better. I mean i would know if i re-tore my acl right?

hi all, i feel a little crazy asking this and sorry if i am wasting your time. I am 4 days after my ovulation and i am ttc. i am not due my period until 5/7/11 so obviously its too early to take a test? but last couple of days i have felt so different in myself and i dont know why, i have some slight cramping/twinges and felt so sick. i went out last night for a few drinks and then early hours of this morning i woke to be sick, yes i thought it was the alcohol, but it wasnt, it was different, i dont really want to go into detail but i know the difference and weird as it sounds ive never been sick like this before. i am a mum to one and never had sickness with my last pregnancy 3 years ago. this morning my breasts feel a little different not too sore but like a tingly feeling but they are not bigger. do you think that i could feel signs this early or am i just telling my self i could be because i want to be? i just feel so different its strange. thanks for all your help in advance and i just hope someone can help because i feel so stupid x

Haven sharp pains and im almost 8weeks prego?

Okay, so I didn't feel that bad earlier. Just a little nauseous but it didn't bug me. Then we got in the car and I started thinking about my New York trip ( on Tuesday) to visit my dad and I became so nervous! I love seeing him but I hate flying by myself ( I've flown by myself a bunch of times, and yet I'm scared) . I have a huge fear of throwing up and I'm scared I will get sick over there or on my plane ( I don't have motion sickness, its just a fear) I know, I sound stupid, but okay..anyways,I went to the movies and I started shaking,chewing my nails, then I got really nauseous. I wasn't sure if the feelings were anxiety or pms ( I'm supposed to have my period next week). Now I'm stuck with the nausea and clenching my teeth. :/ what is happening? I'm already seeing a councelor and I've been to the doctor and they've diagnosed me with ADD which may cause me to focus more on my Anxiety than anything else :/ just Fyi aha thanks!

This could be an inner ear problem or something to do with your blood. Some people need iron more then others. Iron deficiency can make these symptoms but you can take liquid geratol and see if this works. I know it has worked for me in the past. The dizziness does sound like an inner ear problem and could resemble in the stabbing pains along with fever and chills especially if you have a ear drum problem linking to an infection. This could be both problems inner ear with low iron.

Stretch marks at 10.5 weeks pregnant?

I'm pregnant with my first child. I am currently 10.5 weeks pregnant. I have noticed stretch marks on my hips (both sides) and one on my stomach right above my belly button. With having bad morning sickness I have lost about 5 lbs and haven't gained any back yet. I am using palmers vit e oil twice a day. Just curious if anyone else started getting stretch marks this early?

Nerve damage after extraction and implant?

I had tooth #19 pulled last Tuesday a bone grafting and an implant put in. I still cannot feel my left lower lip or chin. I am still in a lot of pain. I am at the point where I am having overdose symtoms from trying to manage the pain. I was taking 100 mg demoral and 1 perocet every 4 hours. I am having leg and arm spasms, tightness in my muscles. I take a break on the pain pills for 8 hours and then I try to take them again. I am not really getting any break from the pain though. I talked to my dentist twice. The last time was Friday. He said if I felt the same on Monday I should come see him. I am really worried that serious damage has occured and I am not sure I trust this OS. He was really rough on me during the extraction. I have had a lot of dental work in my life but this was really a traumatic experience. I was actually crying and shaking during the extraction. The first injection felt like a bolt of lightening in me. The swelling has gone down slightly. I have prednisone that I take for Crohns disease. I am wondering if I should start a round of it to help in reducing the swelling in hopes to take the pressure off the nerve, or will this hinder the bone graft?

okay i got the idea from some video in my science class. Anyways... It takes place in the future where a girl who is extremely sick and most likely going to die is taken away in the middle of the night to be experimented on. This sort of thing is normal though. The doctors of the children who are going to die have limited supplies and while the government has the technology to cure the kids sicknesses instead they don't give the doctors anything. When the finally decide on which child to choose to take they make the doctors tell the families that the child had died while sleeping. So they take the girl and no one objects because they can't. Then that's the last thing she remembers. After that part she ends up being experimented on. The people do horrible things to her but since they have the tools and supplies they can heal her again. She spends some days in the experimenting room and some days in the 'normal room' this room is just a big hospital room with a bunch of other kids. They have nurses that attend to them, feed them, etc. But they always have to return to the experimenting room. Also each kid has no idea where they came from as they had that part of their memory erased (same with the girl) though I added one character that remembered where he came from. And yup that's all. I don't wanna add in any more on it in case there are some copiers and there are more characters and problems but yeah this is all for now ^.^ thanks no rude comments please!

Change of policy of company sick pay scheme?

My company have for the last 30 years operated a company sick pay scheme whereas you would receive up to 20 days sick pay. Although at the end of the entire contract it is written '****** reserve the right to make make changes', they have not been specific to what changes, (does that give them right to change things willy nilly?) and after 30 years of sick pay would it not be implied that it has become custom and practise and therefore would form part of the contract? However, they have now introduced without agreement from their employees, that after the 3rd sickness, sick pay would not be paid (even though they are operating it as 2 times off, then lose pay). Are they able to do this legally or are they in breach of contract? Thank you

Over the past year I've lost my way a little.. Let myself down with the hard times were all having recently. I've always worked hard, always grafting and never taking a day off. I feel like I've lost my way and I've recently lost my girlfriend. She's the best thing that's ever happened, we had that fairy tale relationship. We have been speaking a lot about getting our own place and always planned for big things but I get the feeling she's been thinking ahead and thinkin to herself "if we cnt get on our feet now, what are we gonna do when we have bills and a house to pay for" this winter has just been really tough for me and I've nt been able to keep ahold of money and feel like I've really let myself down.
